If the form changes after the students have turned in their scholarship project to the College 101 instructors, the instructors will contact the students who have turned in scholarships to them and help them change the information over to the new form. Cotillion 2022-2023

The Cotillion for Achievement is a Scholastic Benefit Organization formed for the purpose of recognizing outstanding high school seniors attending school in Andrew and Buchanan Counties. These scholarships are based on the student's achievements as well as extracurricular activities and community participation while exhibiting high moral and ethical standards. Sixteen final candidates will be chosen from among the applicants with an equal number of males and females. From this group of finalists, one young man and one young woman will each receive a $1,800 scholarship. Each remaining finalist will receive a $800 scholarship. Northwest Financial Women March 1st

To be eligible for the scholarship, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a female;
  • Must be a graduating high school senior;
  • Must attend school or live within the Missouri counties of Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Nodaway, Platte, or Worth;
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • The application must be free of spelling/grammatical errors;
  • Must plan on attending an accredited school or university;
  • Must plan to obtain a business or finance degree.
  • Applicants must complete the application and submit it along with a copy of their transcript and a letter of recommendation from a mentor/professional with a good knowledge of the applicant’s character. The scholarship funds will be awarded directly to the recipient’s school or university. Should the recipient fail to attend an accredited school or university, they will forfeit the scholarship money.
